The Lenovo logo is our most recognizable visual asset.
Our signature red reflects the energy of our brand and our commitment to delivering smarter technology for all.
Use the logo in signature red whenever possible to maximize recognition and consistency.
Single-color (black or white) versions may be used when legibility or production constraints prevent use of the signature red logo.

The Lenovo logo consists of a white wordmark set within a red shape.

Structure
Elements

The containing shape is a 3:1 rectangle in our signature red. It is a required part of the Lenovo logo and should not be altered, distorted, or removed. It may inspire other brand applications, but the logo itself should always remain intact.

The Lenovo wordmark is a customized type treatment, including the distinctive slanted “e.” It should not be used as a standalone element. The wordmark may only appear without the red shape in approved on-product branding.

Use the signature red Lenovo logo across brand communications to maintain consistency and recognition.

The Lenovo wordmark (note the slanted “e”) is reserved for on-product branding and should not be used as a standalone element.

Use approved brand fonts when Lenovo appears in headlines or body copy.

Avoid using the logo or wordmark as text in headlines or body copy.
Orientation
We want the Lenovo logo to be distinctive and easy to recognize at a glance. Choose the orientation that best supports composition, legibility, and visual hierarchy.
Vertical
Use the logo in a vertical orientation when it supports the layout and maintains strong recognition. Ensure it reads bottom to top when rotated.

Horizontal
Use the logo in a horizontal orientation when it improves spacing, alignment, or readability, particularly in low-height or wide formats.

Clear space
Maintain minimum clear space around the logo so it remains distinct from nearby elements such as other logos, copy, or imagery.
As illustrated, the clear space for the Lenovo logo is measured by using the width of the ‘L’ in the logo.

Minimum size
The Lenovo logo is designed to work across a range of sizes, but legibility and impact are reduced if it becomes too small.
- In print, use the logo at 20 mm (0.79 in) wide or larger
- In digital, use the logo at 100 px wide or larger at 72 dpi

Single Color
In limited cases, such as single-color print, laser etching, or embossing, the Lenovo logo may be used in a single color.
- Red
- White
- Black
Contact the Brand Help Desk if a specific use case requires guidance.
Attribution
Include appropriate trademark and copyright notices on all materials where space allows.
These notices may be omitted in very small applications where they would be difficult to read or overly distracting, such as small promotional items, compact digital layouts, or environmental signage.
Attribution statements
Use the appropriate attribution statement based on the trademarks included in your material.

Lenovo logo lockup
The Lenovo logo lockup combines the Lenovo logo with the “Smarter technology for all” tagline to reinforce our brand message.
Use the logo lockup when it is legible and supports the layout. Choose the version that best fits your composition. Avoid recreating, realigning, or altering any part of the logo lockup or tagline. Use approved artwork.

Logo lockup usage
Use the logo lockup when the tagline is legible and supports the message.
Use an approved alternative (Lenovo logo only or partner-approved configuration) when:
- The asset is too small to keep the tagline legible
- The tagline reduces the clarity of the Lenovo logo
- The communication is Motorola-branded
- The asset includes partner lockups
When using the lockup alongside partner logos, measure from the Lenovo logo (not the full lockup).
Alliance partner requirements may override these guidelines. Contact your alliance team for details.

Logo lockup clear space
Maintain a minimum clear space around the logo lockup so the logo and tagline remain distinct from nearby elements such as other logos, copy, or imagery.
Measure clear space using the width of the “L” in the logo. Keep clear space around the full lockup equal to the height of the Lenovo “L.”

Logo lockup minimum size
Ensure the logo lockup remains legible at all sizes. If the tagline cannot be clearly read, use the logo alone.
Follow the minimum size guidance for the Lenovo logo.

Moving media
Use the Lenovo logo lockup in approved end bumper animations for digital moving media.
For available variations and implementation guidance, visit the Sonic identity page.

Translations
Use the English Lenovo logo lockup. If translation is required for comprehension, use an approved translated version of “Smarter technology for all.”
Contact the Brand Help Desk for guidance on creating or using translated lockups.
Positioning and sizing
For static applications, position the Lenovo logo on the right edge of the layout.
The logo may move vertically within the margin to support the layout. Avoid logo-free zones unless required by the layout.
- Use top-aligned lockups in the upper portion of the layout.
- Use bottom-aligned lockups in the lower portion of the layout.

Sizing templates
Logo sizing
Use the Lenovo 3×3 grid to size and position the logo across layouts. Follow the instructions below to get started.
- Size the grid to the artboard using the shortest height. (If needed, set outer margins using subgrids or sub units before sizing the grid).
- Set the Lenovo logo height to one grid unit.
Layout and scaling
When sizing the Lenovo logo and subbrand wordmarks:
- Maintain a consistent size relationship between the Lenovo logo and subbrand wordmarks
- Scale subbrand wordmarks proportionally to the logo
Minimum sizing
Ensure the logo meets the minimum size requirements:
- Print: 20 mm (0.79 in) wide or larger
- Digital: 100 px wide or larger

Partnerships
Use the Lenovo name and trademarks consistently in all partnership applications.
Partner lockups
Use partner lockups for approved corporate brand-level partnerships. Avoid using them for product-level communications or embedded technology.
- Use the signature red Lenovo logo when representing a partnership.
- Ensure the lockup represents each partner equally.
- A thin dividing bar (2 px or less) may be used between logos. For multiple partners, follow the same spacing guidance and avoid using dividing lines.
- Avoid using subbrand wordmarks, descriptive names, or regular text in partner lockups.
- Avoid combining partner logos with the “Smarter technology for all” tagline or logo lockup.
- Partner lockups are not for distributor or reseller use.
Custom lockups
When Lenovo enters a new partnership or joint venture, contact the Brand Help Desk for the creation of a formal partner lockup.
If a vertical logo or vertical lockup is needed to support brand visibility or meet partner guidelines, reach out to the Brand Help Desk for a custom solution.

Alliance partnerships
When using the Lenovo logo lockup with alliance partner logos, size partner logos to match the Lenovo logo (not the full logo lockup).
Contact your Lenovo alliance team for detailed guidance on sizing, placement, and compliance requirements.

Cobranding and technology lockups
When combining Lenovo branding with partner or subbrand elements, prioritize clear hierarchy and balanced composition.
Position each element so it is legible and appropriately weighted within the layout. No single element should overpower others.
Always use the Lenovo logo for best legibility and balance.
Technology lockups
Use technology lockups when required by a partner or when space is limited.
When creating a technology lockup:
- Use the Lenovo subbrand wordmark and the “+” symbol
- Ensure both elements are equal in size
- Avoid adding descriptors or regular text
Work with your alliance partner and the Brand Help Desk to ensure compliance with external brand requirements.
